LED spotlights

I can't find the thread on here just now but there have been some rave reviews by users of these HID50 lights who say the light output is just stunning and the headlamp conversion quite easy. http://www.hid50.com/

Have to agree with the HID50, we sell those kits as well!
The HID50 kits have been proven over 4+ years of development and are the best conversion kit with the best reliability and backup (go Les!)
The LED's are a different proposition really.
A lot of people want aux lights as well as their HID's
some have smaller bikes with smaller electrical output or poor headlight reflectors that dont respond well to HID conversions.
Some may like riding mountain bikes and like the idea of having aux lights on their motorcycle that they can also use on their mountain bike (lithium ion batteries available). It should be noted with regard to this that you wont find a 900 lumen MTB light for the same money.
Some may even want a helmet light!

They're another option, dependent on the users' needs

More installs stateside.....

I figure they would make great emergency lighting too. How long could you leave your headlight on if needed and still be able to start your bike? With these babies you could go for hours without hurting even the standard crap BMW battery. I have a 1 watt LED Lenser torch and it puts out an awesome amount of bright, white light so these puppies should be good. Note to self: stop being so slack and try them out!

They're on the way!

We should have these on the shelf from early next week.:clap

They're really versatile, massively powerful with a tiny power draw, reliable and robust.

Helmet light
aux lights
fog lights
mountain bike lights

As well as the 10deg spot and wide/low 45/15deg pods carrying the full range of battery packs, mounting kits and wiring harness. We are working on a few bike specific mounts which should surface in a few weeks (tenere + F800gs for now)

Have a peak at the info on our site and PM me for a coupon for a very special deal until the new year.

we had chance to eye a solstice light up against a KTM 950 low beam with a 35W HID conversion today..
we were pretty surprised and pleased with the results. The solstice really improved vision and visibility against a far more 'powerful' HID light with a large reflector, the flat spread helping to pick out detail and light up the verge.
The light in the photos below is the style we rejected as its a bit 'ringy' so the spots we are getting are a much smoother more consistent light.
We're reckoning a 45/15 activated by the low beam and a spot on the high would be a great combo on this bike.

I finally got around to putting mine on the other week but haven't tried them at night yet as it has been pissing down the last few days. A few pics attached.
