any advice? I recently switched the tail light for one of those clear housing, red LED sets that actually plugs in to the original bulb holder. works a treat, but because the LED doesn't have a resistor (or coil) the warning is showing on the bike that the bulb has failed. it hasn't and works fine, but I don't like riding with a warning light.

anything I can do?

Cheers

Dave

Some retro-fit LED lights have resistors built-in to compensate the the changed current draw and stop the warning light coming on. If yours was sold as being compatible with the model of GS you have, I'd suggest asking for a replacement and if that's no different, get your money back.
