Hey guys need some advice again. I seem to have a problem that when my bike gets wet my left cylinder stops functioning correctly but seems to sort itself out with some running. I have the common problem of build up of water in the filler hole and today I notice some fall into the tank, do you think this could cause my problem or something else??

Thanks

haha, thanks for the overwhelming response......I found the problem for all those not interested, I had a tiny hole in my ht lead which was sparking on the fuel tank and made worse when wet.

Good Job I'd have said check the lead but missed this post

Be Careful You REALLY need to clean that little hole out under the filler or you will end up with loads of water in your tank and your pump with get shagged

It's about 9 o'clock as you sit in the seat and look in under the filler cap

Don;t be tempted to blow an airline UP from the base of the tank because it "may" blow off just below the filler neck!

Old Guitar string is perfect for this with some oil or detergent to break the material up it's usually only a few mm deep
