Left hand switchgear

My 2013 F800GS lefthand switchgear has failed, mainbeam switch has packed up. Looking at the internet it seems that the switchgear is fragile. Does anyone have a 2013 repair CD and is able to send me a pdf of the pages on how to change the switchgear, cos my CD only covers the old style switches.

have you been to the dealers to see if they will do a warranty claim? they have got a problem with these switches. I know yours is out of warranty but they might do it out of good will. is it low mileage? I've had both mine replaced under warranty, the first was starter button jammed solid at 2000 miles, and indicator switch failed at 8000. mine has just run out of warranty now 1 April. they are bloody expensive.
while mine was in for warranty work they done a free health check and found steering head bearings shot, so replaced them under warranty.

unfortunately my bike is a year out of warranty, I dont think that a goodwill gesture will hold water either.

A friend has just had his replaced FOC on a R1200RT 18 months out of warranty so worth a try.
