Has anyone taken out legal cover with RAC, it’s £15, and covers all vehicles so I understand, it then saves buying numerous add on policies on the car / bike your insuring. TIA

the only problem with these policies is you have no choice in who represents you and you are often assigned to a paralegal not a real solicitor

If I had a valid claim I would rather appoint a solicitor of my choosing who would recover their fees as part of the claim, either someone local or a well regarded specialist like White Dalton.
