Did a search on Corsica or Sardinia accomodations and came up blank.

Would anyone have names, addresses, phone numbers and web sites of places they've stayed at on Corsica or Sardinia.

I'm looking for B&Bs or hotels for stays of a few nights at each (not interested in one-week or more holiday home rentals).

Thanks in advance!

There's no shortage of hotels on Corsica so I can't understand why you can't find any.

Nonetheless, try here for a start.

Try here for Sartene.

These are places I've stayed and enjoyed. For the rest of Corsica just pick a town name and do a google search. You're almost certain to get the tourist office come back with hotel/campsite etc.

Cheers

Thanks Dirk.

Oh, I found quite a few, but most of them were for longer term rentals...at least according to their rates page. B&Bs on Corsica are harder to find on-line.

I've noted that finding a place to stay is a breeze in Austria, Southern Germany, Northern Italy and Switzerland (places I've toured often), whereas France (between Mont Blanc and Nice) was a bit troublesome...and Corsica seems to be the same.

Check out the photos on Rob's (Franco's) smugmug pages (click photos on the home page, click on Rob, then go to motorcycles and corsica 2004 should be in there somewhere). We went from Nice to Ajaccio, took about 5 hours, then down the (beautiful) west coast to Bonafacio, it was such a great place we stayed there for an xtra day than planned. We stayed at the Hotel Solemare, which is on the harbour front (check out the view from our bedroom) - 3 star, clean and room to park bikes outside the lobby entrance (the entrance to the lobby faced away from the harbour front, the bedrooms faced the waterfront).

Can you post the link?

I'm not a regular...who is Rob?

Looking forward to seeing the pics.
Thanks

go to the home page on UKGSER, below "forums" you will see "photos", click on this and you will see some pictures from various contributors to this site. Find a picture from "rob", click on this and it will take you to his Smugmug site. He has various categories for his pictures, look for "bikes" then look for "trips" then click on "corsica 1/2/3 June 2004"
