I have an 02 1150 GS, with normal original battery.

PIAA 1100 55w fog lamps wired through the auto switch, with LED wired. The power is fed direct to the battery. It has a 20amp in line fuse.

Hella FF50 55w Driving lights, linked into the High beam. The power is fed direct to the battery. It also has a 20amp in line fuse.

If I put new fuses in, I can get all lights to light up initially. Then I switch off the lights and try and turn on only the PIAAs, the fuse for the PIAA blows, yet the LED turns on.

Any ideas why this happens? Why does it not blow straight away? Surely a 20amp fuse is enough (I thought I used to use 10amp fuses?!?). Where do I start to try and find the fault? Any ideas what the fault could be?

NB I also have a Klan fleece hardwired in (although its not on all the time) and a Pocket PC GPS hardwired in (also not always on)

Any help gratefully received. ;)

This set up used to work absolutely fine....
