OK guys, need some help here. Riding along on my 2001 1150 GS and the right hand slider swith for the lights fell out....rang BWM for a replacement of a 20p piece of plastic.

Needles to say you have to buy the whole switch housing for £104 !!!!

Does anybody know where I can get a switch from....looks to be a simple push fit.

Cheers

Motorworks - no point really in buying a new one. Can't remember which side the light switch is (my bike doesn't have one) but a used LH one is £38, right hand is £41.

Thanks for the advice...I think I will just leave the lights swithced on rather than fork out that amount.

Well if they're stuck on (rather than off) you're no worse off than an owner of a 2002-on bike on which there's no light switch.

i have a spare right hand switch unit for the later 02 model has no light switch but has a plastic blanking plate where switch would be if you want the blanking bit you are welcome to it.i only brought it for the micro switches at auto jumble

Great, I'll take you up on your kind offer of the blanking plate. PM'd my address.
