I have full set of Vario panniers and top case. Replaced top case with Givi 56 as when touring need room for 2 full face helmets. Want to replace Vario pannier with lighter alternatives but don’t really want a new frame to mount. Are there any alternatives that will fit on the Vario mount ?

I was shocked at the weight of the varios. I therefore sacrificed some security and went Enduristan soft panniers.

They’re quite heavy and the mechanism takes up space inside.

But, the convenience of the Varios, and the fact that I rarely use them (some holidays, compared to commuting & everything else) means they sit under my workbench causing no weight issues most of the time.

The convenience wins, particularly with matched locks. I doubt I’d swap them if there were something lighter and more spacious that went on & off the same way.

I kind of agree but tour two to three times a year two up with my better half, the extra 15KG's and reduced space is annoying, I had the Hepco Beckers on my Honda and more spacious and lighter. The "central" locking and USB charging re useful but not necessary.

I 3D printed a box that contains a LED, a switch and a twin 12V to USB adaptor from Amazon. It’s permanently mounted in my top-box and plugged in to a fused socket which is fitted just below the grab rail. If I’m touring, the compressor can plug into the same socket, and if I’m away and not using the bike, I have a lead from a fixed 3-channel battery charger/maintainer that also can plug in there (and the Sam socket on my Guzzi, my lad’s F650, and ‘er ladyship’s old 911) so everything will start when I get back.

Central locking? Bit new-fangled for me, sir :)
