Apart from Sherpatensing's heartwarming experience in September, has anyone had servicing done by Lind's of Norwich?

I've been happy with Balderstons, but a local dealership would be so much more convenient... if they're as good as they should be!

Linds

Had my EWS thingy and a software update done under warranty, no issues. They are all very approachable in there too, which goes a long way in my book. john

I'm happy with Linds.

I used to deal with Cannon :blast but following several crap experiences I took my business to Lind's.

I asked about whether the EWS on my bike needed changing as from this forum I founf thst it did and they found that (Cannon hadn't bothered to contact me to get my bike done and still haven't) so did the EWS change, plus a software update that needed doing.

On taking in the bike is was returned bang on time, no delays, no fuss, no problem sir, here's your keys which was a new experiance based on my previous dealings with Cannon.

I've also been back for parts which they've sourced as required, without requesting deposit.

I've never dealt with Balderstones which seem to have a good reputation, so I'm not prepared to comment one way or another.

Cannon BMW were..... well I hesitate to say wholly what I thought in a public forum, but if they lost the franchise I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed.

So far Lind's have been helpful, cheerfully done warranty work on my bike (even though they didn't sell it) dealt with everything promptly and been very helpful and welcoming. So far Lind's have met my expectations and I'd be happy to recommend them.

JPB,
What heartwarming experience are you referring to?

Thanks everyone, I'll give them a try.

Agree with the comments about Cannons; although I bought my bike there after their first attempt at servicing it I've never been back.

Sherpatensing, didn't you submit a glowing report about Linds servicing your bike?

No, I've never been to Linds. I bought my bike from NOG (2007) and they travel up to Cambs in a van, fetch it and return it at no extra cost. Last time, it was returned to me cleaned, and a full tank of petrol. :beerjug: The Peterborough dealer couldn't/wouldn't come up with a sensible deal, so I went to NOG. I hear that Wollastons is very good as well.

Hi A friend and I use a company in Norwich called K R S tel no 01603 629916, These were two guys who worked at Lind and now set up on there own good luck.

Not had a service yet, but small warranty issues have been resolved as I would have expected, agree staff seem willing to help.
Had ignition & software upgrades sorted plus one or two minor items FOC.

So far so good.

Note - If you have BMW insurance you can use your insurance for the loan bike! Much better than £1000 excess!

Sorry, my mistake, it was Attleborough!

Thanks to all for the feedback
