Lindstrands clothing.....any good?

Been thinking of buying some Lindstrands bike trousers which seem the same spec as similar Rukka ones but are a hell of a lot cheaper.

Anyone tried any Lindstrands stuff as was it any good?

They are the same make as halvarssons stuff which gets good reviews, just named differently to appeal to a different market i assume.

ive got a couple of bits of halversons/lindstrands kitn and its brilliant

sized smaller so go for the next size up and itll be just right,

ive got the GI pants and think theyre ace, use them for green laning and never leaked, and are vented for when its a tad warm, and only about £200

reckomened them to anyone

Same here, I can find Halvarssons no problemo online...but not Lindstroms?

Bought just after xmas, excellent condition hardly used & complete with back protector fitted. Total cost new £230 + PP. I want £140 posted. Just a thought

Bought a pair of Lindstrands Textile Camouflage style trousers from Hideout http://www.hideout-leather.co.uk/ a couple of months back. Very pleased with them, incredibly comfortable.

I've got some Linsdtrands kit to replace a twat suuit. Bought from Bykebitz in Yately. I got the Graffiti jacket and GI trousers.

There are 2 removable liners, the first is a thermal liner, with that out the jacket (and trousers) are reasonably cool and waterproof, the second is the waterproof liner, with that out it's a good warm weather suit with lots of vents.
plenty of inside, outside and waterproof pockets, vents in the troos, and very comfortable to wear.

Been rained on, but not badly, and stayed dry, been hot, took the liners out and was cool. Zips are all good quality, and the fit and finish look as good as the Rukka kit I've got.

I'll be doing my East Europe trip in this kit with Trans Open boots from Daytona to complete the ensemble.

slightly off topic with this one, but looking for a decent winter jacket, and cant figure out how the halversons saftey jacket works?

take it that you buy the inner jacket with the armour in and then chose a outer shell to go over the top?

i have a rukka all road suit but the jacket has "shrunk" slightly after an op on my stomach leaving mw with a distended tummy so with the liner in i can only just about fir a long sleeved top on over my work shirt, and will have to leave the heated jacket at home

looking for a similar tyope jacket to the rukka all road but cant work out from the pics if the halversons stuff is a long jacket, or a short one?

please help as this is the time to buy them before the winter seaosn kickcs in!

The Safety Suit is the Feds Fave. The inner 'teddy bear' jacket is thick & moderately heavy, but tough as nails.

Over this you have a range of outers to zip on, the only drawback being you usually need panniers for all the various bits as most have vents, so aren't waterproof.

Good stuff, though & deffo worth the money.
