Little project for 2010

Looking good Roger

The ally airbox looks so much better than the standard one.

Gotta say it looks great in White. Reminds me of the JPN Nortons

Well the white of the gel coat does look good on the bike and it would be tempting to keep that for the colour scheme but I'm pretty sure she will not be white. :augie

Have a plan for the colour, not going to post it on here, you'll just have to wait for that until I get back from the trip :D

Yer know yer tank's dented don't you? :D :D

Them's custom dents them is, think of them as indentations with style :D

You can get different height brackets for the clocks if you don't want them sitting so high.

Too right. My Cafe racer days are long gone. My wrists, neck and knees ache at the sound of the word.

20 years ago though

While somebody else's idea of a fast machine left something to be desired :augie

Well time for an update, mainly because the bodywork just arrived back from the Paintwork Pro and a bloody superb job they did on it as well! :bounce1

Camera just can't capture the colour, its called Rosso Ink and the colour is contained in the lacquer which is sprayed over a silver metallic base, in daylight it's just stunning!

Heads have been sorted and converted for unleaded by Steve Scriminger, new stainless steel push rod tubes and piston rings fitted, just have to get the carbs fitted and I can start her up to see how the megaphone silencers sound.

Going to run her in on the Bings but once that's sorted have a pair of Dellorto's from a 90s to fit to her which together with the old style airbox and short exhausts should be interesting to say the least. :D

Hope to have her out on the road in a few weeks! :drool

Will we see a price list or are you afraid of the numbers.

Love the Ohlins
