Here and there, now and then.
Has anyone here used this place, I would appreciate some feedback as my mate is looking to book us in for a few nights.

I stayed there is March 1995, for the Cambrian Rally
A little remote for walking to a pub
It was very good and food was excellent
How's that?

Hi Al.

Well, many moons ago I stayed there with a few mates. Darryl thought that is was called Lachinda Farm and wondered why nobody that he asked for directions had ever heard of it.
I reckon it was about 25 years ago, none of the dirt bikes got nicked and I’d say that it was OK.
My mate Chris, now no longer with us, sprained his ankle so him driving us home was mainly the automatic Discovery changing up and down gears what with the twin axel Ifor Williams box trailer behind it.
Me and Nick were alright I think.
I’m breaking him at the moment walking about 300 miles of Camino.
Sorry to ramble on and be of no help at all…but hey, it’s about what you’d expect from me.

Have a good trip, I’m sure it’ll be fine.

I’ve stayed there a number of times. A family run hotel and other accommodation. Specialises in welcoming car clubs, motorcyclists, off road and road tours. Remote but attractive setting. Big barn for your bikes. Excellent food and a small bar area.
I’m booked in again early April.

I’ve been but can’t remember much. Hope that helps.

Ooh they have a weather forecasting stone.

Thanks, if it's got a bar and it doesn't run dry that'll be good enough. We may even take a bottle each of wine with us as emergency rations:D

Grief, is it that long ago - we were last there in June 2016, since when they have upgraded the conservatory area considerably.

Welcoming family run place that is dog friendly & specialises in car & bike club meets. Previously they ran a hotel in the Lakes IIRC. Like others say, it's a tad remote, so we went with the HB option. Whilst the weather was appalling, we had some good ride outs - just watch the logging lorries up around the Lyn Brianne reservoir area, as they own the whole road.

We stayed - maybe ten years ago.
Friendly, welcoming, beers etc in the fridge(?)
Took trailies & trials bikes in a trailer as a ( not terribly exciting course in house - well field/woods actually!)
Strata Florida easily accessible and they used to rent out SatMap Actives (?) with preloaded routes.
In wet weather (Wales!) a sketchy, deep, river crossing quite close by that had had Land Rovers washed away!

if you want somewhere nearby that is closer to civilisation then https://maps.app.goo.gl/o2vcFRhGT66LjaMGA is okay. Pub with its own brewery

Riverbank B&B across the bridge is okay too
:okay Just booked in for next Wednesday evening - looks good. Got to ride all the way home to Central Scotland on the next day, so hopefully not too hungover - I do like a real ale  :)
