Off to Santander on Sun 6th and around 7 days to get to Roscoff and home to Plymouth.

Has anyone here done the route from Llavorsi, through to Terveu, Alins, Nonis, Tor and then into Andorra passing through Pal, La Massana and ending up in Escaldes-Engordany, (where our hotel is for a night)

Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Phil,

Have a look at the local weather forecast before you set off. We had these conditions last year and had to turn back three hairpin bends below the Port de Cabus. Oh, and that was on the 7th of May...

Apart from that, they keep paving more and more of the track - the tarmac stretched from Alins to the junction to Noris already... :(

Wow! dont fancy that much, will probs just take the main roads then.
Many thanks for the info.

Tor

Try to avoid Tor.
I wont go into to many details but if you have to go through don't stop in Tor and don't stop for anybody and go during daylight hours. Tor is the contraband capital of Spain, its the only route from Andorra to Spain. You will be traveling on private roads passing through their land and there are some very dubious people live there.
Also Tor is the highest village in the region and can be very cold even in summer
