Loading Video to Ipod

Son Tom, just got q 160 ipod classic.

No instructions with it. How do you load a movie, meaning can we load a dvd on to it???

Or do you have to get the videos another way. We have a laptop with us no problem.

You'll need to rip them off a dvd first to get rid of encryption, then transcode them to mp4.

Handbrake is a good way of doing both. (handbrake.m0k.org).

itunes will convert video too if it's already in QT .mov format off the interweb.
