Hi

The answer to this is probably somewhere on the forum already but I can’t find it

I believe there is least one make of lock that fits neatly under the seat, like a u lock for when you are touring

Does anybody know the make I need, the bike is a R1200GSA 2007 but I think the standard GS is the same

Thanks

Just one question

This may be a bit silly but after reading the link from "Paul S" and seeing the photo of the lock fitted under the seat ,I do have a question. How do you get it in there?

That's my old "lightweight" GS :)

Once you take the seats off, you should be able to see where the 2 long prongs of the lock slides under the pillion seat, and the U shaped bit that is visible houls the U shaped bit of the shackle. It does just slot in. Then the lock bit should fit under the rubberised strap that secures the tools in. Just need to make sure the seat fits ok.
