Lock up your wimmin bor.....

No' like the SS to balls up arrangements and dates :D

Aye right:eek Telephoned this morning and changed the date 20th it is, again I mention that there could be as many as a dozen. Might be an idea that we start a guest list for those that intend to make a day of it?

Sorry to bother you on yer birthday, Noddy but what time ur we a' meetin' for lunch?

Me heads starting to clear now :D

Should be leaving Perth 9-30 to 10ish, gentle bimble up to the table stopping to see the views take a few photos etc. Sooo I recon about noonish.

Hoping that Caroline and Jonathan will make it over to meet up.

We are down to four GSes now and Chalky may be returning Sat pm or Sun early. That leaves 3 of us free for a run out on Sunday. Scotties will be there in their camper so they will be on a little TW.

See you for lunch on Saturday but I'll have to give Sunday a miss as I'm on babysitting duty. :beerjug:

I will going here www.smokedsalmon.co.uk after lunch to stock up on some Scottish delicacies before heading back if anyone wishes to tag along and maybe make a purchase!

If time permits we could go back via the connel bridge, ballachullish, glen coe, tyndrum, crieff and back to perth plenty of daylight left at this time of year!

I'm just in.

A cracking turn out and a cracking run there and back.

Cheers to Noddy and Caroline (Mrs Boxertools) for organising this :beerjug:

Quite agree, first time at Boxertools Bench. Great run and nice meeting everyone, especially Caroline.

A huge & Humble thankyou to all those who came & supported both Jonathan & me on the 20th June. Quite honestly I was totally overwelmed & only after you had all left fully comprehended what you had done! I wasn't going to go up to the tea rooms on Sat as I felt being in the presence of all you guys on your Gs's would be too upsetting, but I found the opposite, I soon came to realise what friends you all are to us & why my Mick loved you people & this forum so much. He would have been so honoured & proud of you all & so am I and my family too.
Unfortunately most of you Scottish boys missed our daughters (Mary-Mini Tools) surprise entrance down at the waterfall, she should have been in Australia!! I very nearly joined Mick, where ever he is!
Thankyou again from the bottom of my heart.

Caroline (Mrs Tools) X & Jonathan (Master Tools)

It was an honour to be there, Caroline. :beerjug: I'm sure all of us from the SS felt the same. It was really nice to have been invited to join you, Jonathan and Mike's Flatlanders mates.

That must have been a big surprise for you at the cairn :D

There are a few pics posted of the day on Wully's thread in the SS here

A few photos of the day from the Flatlanders.

Was great to meet up with old and new friends. :thumb
