Can't see an obvious way for the Abus U lock to fit under seat on GSA w/c.....any recommendations for adhoc lock ? At home it gets chained to a ground anchor and work has secure parking.....just need something for occasional stay at B&B. Fortunately not due to be going into London for a bit or it'd be a fecking big chain.

I know the fecking big chain is the most secure - just looking for a 'dissuader' from the opportunist thief rather than the seasoned thieving bastard...

Suggestions ?

Anything that will pass through that silly hole on your rear hub....an added bonus of it's long enough to pass around a pole or lamp post, or even just a bollard (it'll take 5 big blokes to lift a GS to that height, and it's easier to get a bolt cropper than 5 quiet big blokes)

Don't be shy when you get to a B&B by the way.......make friends, have a bit of grub and show the owners that you're not att or some stereotype biker dude, then ask them politely if there's anywhere you can tuck your bike in and most of them will show you their back passage or somewhere else safe to stick your pride and joy.

People are generally nice, if you're nice to them :)

Ok, chain it is, recommendations for one happy to sit at the bottom of a top box on a GSA ie metal top box ?
