Ok so in about 2017 i think it was I bought a 16mm Almax chain and the matching lock and declare it as a security device each year on my insurance renewal (no idea how much it reduces the figure by but got to be worth something).
So anyway I got thinking earlier is my chain classed as a gold or a diamond standard, so had a look for their website to find out and it doesn’t appear to be there any longer so does this mean that if they have ceased trading will the insurance companies no longer recognise the products I wonder?
Also I’ve got a Litelok X1 that is classed as sold secure diamond standard but after hunting for quotes for another bike recently I noticed the X1 wasn’t on the list of recognised locks.
