It's time to renew my insurance again, and i was wondering where the rest of you insured your bikes? (and declared any modifications).

Originally i hadn't done much to my bike, but i've just totted up what i've spent on it and it's over £1500, which i don't fancy loosing out on if the bike gets stolen.

Just had my renewal quote for £270 and want to have a look around before i part with my money.

I have my BMs insured with BMW Insurance - can't remember who actually underwrites it but you can get a quote etc via their web site. Originally only my RT was on it, and it cost next to nothing to add the X Ch.

Unfortunately you can't add other makes of bikes to it, so depending upon the makeup of your garage, it may be cheaper to go for one of those e bike type of policies (it hasn't worked out cheaper for me that way yet though)

I use E-bike. Never had to pay an additional premium to add modifications, unlike some other insurers.

another one for ebike here, easiest company to deal with for modified bikes in my experience, i got a multibike policy with them and it was cheaper than quotes i was getting from others for just the xc on its own
