We are two on two bikes and are aiming to go London Bejing next year April-June . We would like to share the cost of going through China with more motorcyclists. We know what the outline cost is, we know an agent etc and have generally got some good outline plans. We do not need to be together until we reach Kashgar.
We want to take in terracotta soldiers etc but do not have all the time in the world. We envisage 30 days in China.

We have been quoted , permit $2000 per bike,$200 for entry, and then the guide fee, which is the one that would reduce if we were more , $320 per day. This is without any bargaining which is no doubt possible. I began to bargain and he immediately came down a bit. Thought we would now see if we can share and then bargain.
We have not done much about asking for price for getting bikes back because if we don't get across China then that would not be on !! We feel that is not a problem as we have done that kind of thing before. Ship or fly. You could ask James Cargo shippers. We think they are generally expensive but gives an idea.

Hi herman, do you have a any itinary of travel? stays?did you make any search forthe tour? are you taking the same ride like globe busters?its good I hold a turkish pass too so mostly countrys I dont need visa even china)
Whats the permit and entry for?(sorry i didnt know) and guide fee? (I was also a tourist guide in turkey for 17 years)could you please explain a bit more wide?
