Right, here we go folks. Part 1 of my ride report after myself and Erika return from 3500 miles to Slovakia and back. We packed the bike up the day before departure and had a few concerns about the weight ...

We set off from home at 0400 for the 0630 train to Calais. The weather looked good for the first day of the trip as we boarded the train..

The route took us from Calais to Belgium and into Germany for our 1st nights camping 10K's from the Nurburgring.

We woke up the following day to a nice sunny morning with a planned route to Nurnberg. Not a particularly interesting ride but ended up at a fantastic campsite right behind a huge sports stadium in the centre of the city....

The following day we woke up to rain so packed everything up and headed off for the Czech Republic

By the time we arrived nera the Slovak boarder it was 2100 so rather than camp we decided to stay in a hotel and found this place called the Bobrovnic.... I can't recommend it enough. Total cost for the night for 2 of us was about £30
