I love the weekly commute of 500 miles on my GS adventure, but recently decided to move closer to my work.Thought maybe a change of bike was in order....
Just as a matter of interest, I rang round a few dealers to see what my bike was worth:
R1150GS adventure
purchased 08/02
heated grips, ABS, engine bars, lower seat, touratech ally panniers..blah,blah
18000 miles...(very warm and comfortable miles)
highest bid from any dealer was £6500. Great. My bikes lost £3000 in value in 11 months.
Must remember NOT to sell it!!..yeah, as if I'm going to.
A GS is for life...not just for christmas(or weekends for that matter)
