I’ve been insured by Ducati (Ramasis) for some years. My policy is for three bikes, business use and commuting.

They have told me today they can no longer provide business cover due to the value of my 2021 V4S. Remember this is DUCATI insurance.

Luckily I have time to shop around, but has anyone got any recommendations?

TIA

Do you need the V4S to have business cover? As many have found, putting the expensive bike on a separate policy might work out cheaper. I had two nearly new bikes, both costing about 17k in 2016/7. I only insured one for commuting and had them on separate policies. Full NCD on both. These two policies were about 60% of the cost of putting them on a multibike policy with C Nash.

If you really need a single policy, ring Bikesure and the High St brokers Howden & Swinton (same parent as C Nash but more likely to make an effort than a call centre droid)

Thanks, that will keep me busy on Friday. I was thinking I might just insure the 2010 RT for business & commuting, although I can’t remember the last time I did that. The Multistrada & Himalayan could be social domestic etc. The Himi could be 3rd party.

Similar - I did have all my bikes on business cover in case I fancied riding one in the office or customer site, but they got ludicrously expensive last year.

Agree, after many years of multi bike policies mine are now on separate policies.
