Mike - I respect your authority and knowledge on the BM's but can I ask what you've found the issues to be on the LC please... I have my eyes on a 2015, 7,000 miler at present. You can tell me to fook off and mind my own business,
But I wouldn’t touch an LC bike without a warranty.
A bike of that age/ price,I’d go jap.
I think the faults are fairly well documented in the LC sections,Mike - I respect your authority and knowledge on the BM's but can I ask what you've found the issues to be on the LC please... I have my eyes on a 2015, 7,000 miler at present.

Thanks Mike - very much appreciated... doesn't look like the RT is for me.I think the faults are fairly well documented in the LC sections,
But my experience,
Worn canshafts,
Seized and worn propshafts,
Final drives that cannot be repaired effectively due to unlisted/unavailable parts.
That’s before you get into excessive tech like flat screens etc etc,
All of this stuff will make the bike unrepairable once it’s ,let’s say 10 years old.
Same as cars, the manufacturers have turned them into “white goods”
To be disposed of rather than repaired.
To my mind, some will disagree,Thanks Mike - very much appreciated... doesn't look like the RT is for me.

That’s a bonusNot much wrong with a nice 1150 but it’s going to be 20 years old,
Read into that as you please![]()
