Fixed it for youI am rude but not polite , like many here.
There's the street. Enough room for everyone.
I couldn't give a shit about overnight parking in a carpark. The only reason anyone cares is because of the paranoid old farts on this forum banging on about secure parking.
Don’t rely on the parking filter in booking.com. We booked a place in Spain last year on that basis and the parking was in the street, 3 streets away. You can specify that in Booking.com.
I've been in Spain for a month now, in various towns and cities and parked on the street with the Abus granite on the front wheel all the time. No problems.

Often it means nearby, which can be a 5-10 min walk, either in a paid public car park or on the street.
I always check by messaging or calling the property
That's exactly what I was finding hence asking the question on here.Don’t rely on the parking filter in booking.com. We booked a place in Spain last year on that basis and the parking was in the street, 3 streets away.

I’m not home at the mo, but I’ll dig out notes from a couple of trips. That's exactly what I was finding hence asking the question on here.
Doesn't have to be locked in a garage just a hotel carpark close to reception is usually sufficient. Just don't fancy leaving it in a side street somewhere.
Have you ever had a bike nicked Sid ?I am old but not decrepit, like many here.
Very much appreciated, thank you.I’m not home at the mo, but I’ll dig out notes from a couple of trips.
I’m like you, I want the bike to be safe. Last trip was on my HP2E and Mrs Berin on the basic- not easily replaceable and even if they were, who wants to deal with having a bike stolen on holiday.
I do park in the street sometimes, using the JB small towns philosophy but I’d rather avoid it as it’s too easy for someone to just tip the bike over.
I appreciate it could get nicked anyway but at least I’m minimising risk so I can enjoy my hols.
