Losing colour on switchgear

Morning, does any one have a solution for restoring the colour on faded red switches sighing the switchgear. My bike is a 2016 r1200gs thanks

i was going to ask do you leave the bike in the sun but then saw your location

Hi mate yes unfortunately it’s on the drive as have no garage, although one is being built on sept so got few bits to tidy up on the bike, just want to get the colour back in the red switches

Its a known non issue,

Pigments that make the colour red are susceptible to uv rays

they will fade unfortunately

just keep it a position of shade

Probably difficult to restore, I would look at painting , not sure what paint to recommend,? Perhaps some modellers enamel, would need reapplying occasionally and you might not get an exact match, but pretty close I would think

Ye thought it may of been a pain, replacing whole switchgear will be expensive too
