loss of power... weird?

Was doing 90mph in the fast lane of the autobhan today (slow I know, sorry)
anyway all of a sudden the bike loses engine power. It was like riding into quicksand, I was pushed forward as it rapidly decelerated and then it recovered itself. A yellow triangle flashed up momentarily and I thought to myself. "Holy crap, what was that? "

anybody had anything similar? I did a total of 929km today over 10 hours and had no other issues

Haven't experienced that. Some kind of fuel blockage maybe? Spark plugs/coil packs on the way out? Hope it's nothing serious/expensive, but would a 911 tell you what had happened? (not that I have one or know anyone who has)

Similar to what I experienced when my battery died - mine was however followed by total shut down just a few seconds later

Surely if the engine is running the battery should not have any influence. Sijohnstons battery died and we managed to bump start him down a hill.

Nope - Mine shut down completely & locked back wheel whilst I was riding it

Evidently something to do with FI system where a battery doesn't have enough power which then shuts down the canbus??

Battery wouldn't hold charge & was replaced under warrenty
