is there something your not telling us?,this is the first time i have heard of this stance by bmw and as said earlier you must have really pissed them off big style.Oh and take the refund quick before that offer is withdrawn as well

Due to the deal I got on my new it would mean that i would be £2000+ down and have to find to replace said bike

Sorry i just don't like the looks of KTM
Nothing else out there for me compared to a GSA
I have stuck by them and was offered a new bike or a refund
I took the bike because i believe in BMW
That's very shaken now
I have never slated the bike or BMW at all but i find myself in this predicament
I'm in for a quote for a Rallye sport in the morning, I wouldn't be too happy if I had faults with it & got that reply..

Been told i can have a new bike then i can't?
Buying a new bike because the first one wasn't right?
Paid more money to get a new bike
Spent money on parts from BMW for said bike ?
You tell me where i went wrong as i have no clue ?
I have always said i loved the GSA TE and my local dealers are brilliant
But apparently my expectations are not going to be met ?

So they are giving you a refund, what's the problem? If you like you can take the refund then go buy another GSA or whatever takes your fancy. I have no idea if you are a serial complainer or not and it makes no difference really since you are getting your money back!

All things have faults sometimes when built in there thousands

This just got me so upset after backing my local dealer so much ( and they did have a shitty reputation) that i felt cheated and just not taken care of due to BMW Motorad UK response

. But I do think BMW have lost there way a bit when it comes to banging out bikes then sorting the problems out when they are in the hands of the customer I would be fucking pissed if I was in your situation. All that dough and it don't work.
And I was once when Suzuki bought out the Gsxr 750wt I bought a brand new one, one of the first 200 in the country back in the 90s, anyway there was a engine noise and basically the dealership they would strip and rebuild the engine, it was two weeks old I said fuck that.I went and got legal advice sent them recorded delivery letter with the information the lawyer had given me four days later They delivered a brand spanking new bike and took the old one away happy days. So I feel your pain but I'd get the money back buy a mint 1150 and enjoy riding it.

My deal I got on my new one would of meant that i had to put over £2000 towards one again to get a new one to which i am not in a position to do or should have to
If it was me I would bite his hand off for the refund, bank the money, ride one of my other bikes and have a good long think about what to do next.

The looks will grow on you. In the flesh, I think it looks great. I was one of the ones that commented on here about how ugly the headlight on the SA was when I first saw it. Ignore the looks, and ride one. Quite a few GS & GSA owners have jumped ship, and haven't turned back.

Unfortunately I can only ride certain bikes due to back and neck problems and the GSA is perfect so I'm stuck
To be honest it's upset me more than anything to basically be told I'm not worthy then for Richard to tell me he didn't say that
Sure came across that way when he told me that they can pick and choose who they sell vehicles to
Different when it's a drunk driver mega rich footballer though or some low life drug seller with his pocket full of cash (not that they take cash as it's money laundering)

I think if you shop around, you will get a discount close to the £2000 shortfall ... get the bike registered to someone else... no issue

They don't have that much on them, I know as they discounted my last one to the bone for me
Thats £4K devaluation in a year at that rate.. assuming it's a January reg.. I'm not in full facts but does seem a bit excessive
