lost fuel gauge

Hello People

I just this week got myself a hid conversion kit for my 04 1150 GSA,

The installation went well apart from I lost the display for the clock, fuel and temp gauge.

I have checked all wires back to the clocks but didn’t find any problems.

Has anyone had this happen? or is it just me!

Yeah all ok under there!

yes

move the HID wires away from near the back of the RID ( fuel gauge)
then if it doesn't work, check the fuses.

this is a comon problem and happened to me a couple of times.

Will it just start working if it the hid wires are removed (interference?)

All the fuses look good so hopefully it’s the hid ballast.

Sounds like the ballast is too near the RID

Can any tell me where the ballast is best to be? Does it interfere with the digital display?

I put mine on a handy bolt on the engine bars, no problems with interference
