Lost in Europe

Just got to Hotel on Hvar last 10 mins torrential bloody rain, down a windy narrow hairpin road with gravel on it all good practice. And will give me a good appetite for the Fillet Steak and Truffles I have just ordered for dinner.👍8002.jpg8001.jpg

In the nicest possible way you’ve messed up my Sept plans on a long tour 😂

A few thoughts on the Goldwing, the bike never seases to amaze me how capable it is of most road conditions in comfort and handling I have done 30000 mls on her know so feel very at home on her she averages around 51.5 mls to gallon most of the time, and if you spend a bit of time setting up the suspension, and I do mean fine tuning it to the weight you have on board to within half a turn on the adjuster it will reward you with sublime handling, think the bike would be amazing with electronic adaptive suspension but then would probably be even more ridiculous priced. 5 to 600ml days on her two up are no problem if you have to do them. I have learned not to use the torque of the engine to much and can now get 7000 mls out of a rear tyre1907.jpg

Can't recommend this place enough if you are ever in Trebinje. Bosnia https://share.google/xXEOeN3Q1gs5L9DLB
Probably one of the best places I have stayed in for under £125.00 Hosts were very helpful room was large, it has a swimming pool and is only about 600 MTRS from the old town it was spotless and everything works, and safe locked parking for bike.

I’m only on about 10000 I think .
Utterly brilliant bikes though . How often do you bother resyncing the DCT ? Do mine every 2000 or so . Only takes a couple of minutes

My Dct had been completely smooth until about 5 days ago 27000mls and I noticed it get a little notchy changing down from 4th and 3rd so I did a resync and it is perfect again plus I think the MPG is a little better now. (It could of been resynced when it was serviced)

The thing is, it’s always really smooth . Then you do a resync and it’s even better ,if that makes sense .
