I went in '95 and wasn't impressed, I thought it was a shithole and just Felixstowe, just in Italian.

That'll teach me for arriving by ship and not going much further than the container port gates.........

It seems to have a great vibe now with one street a mile long with just cafes and bars.

I went in 81 or 82 to the MotoGP event held at a place with a runway well outside of town.
We camped at the old race circuit near the town with nutters racing up and down the hill. Some came to a sticky end at the bottom.
The town was great, even back then.
I think it was the Trieste Opicina. I wonder if its still there.

Boarder crossing into Bosnia has been no problem they just want your vehicle documents and a picture of yourself for EES when you return to eu no finger prints, we have been in and out of Bosnia on this trip 3 times, wanted to buy Insurance for Bosnia at the Boarder but nothing there so Boarder Guard made a phone call and an Insurance guy came to the Boarder and sorted it for us for a month for 15 euros all legit I think got stamped paper work.
