Lost my key...

Decided to paint the garage floor Frigate grey last Monday. Two coats required and 36 hours to dry. So bike kept in neighbours garage until Thursday evening...

On the Monday evening, I said to myself, i must keep the key safe. I could not put it back in its usual place because garage floor was wet.

Thursday evening preparing to retrieve bike and yes cannot remember where i put the key...

Used the plastic emergency key. Spent all Friday evening & Saturday searching. No Joy

So going to have to purchase a replacement. Replacement key fob for keyless GS 1200 is £198.

There are many morals to this....

Actually if you took the spare key, 'go and put it in a safe place' you may well be surprised at a spooky co-incidence.

My mate lost his key when we were all setting off on holiday. After smashing his yard brush and several plant pots he found it in his pocket.
