love the bike but hate the screen

I think ive tried them all over the years

The one which works best for me is the adventure screen on adventure tobinators finely tuned to suit me.
Also your crash helmet makes a difference too,if i use the schuberth s1 its pants, but if i wear the multitec its fine.
Also try plugging up any crash helmet vents with old ear plugs and try that.
The std 1150gs screen is shyte, its like being beaten up by woody woodpecker on steroids.
I tried the mra screen, that wasnt much cop either, ive tried the huge barndoor aeroflow, draught free, but the bike was being blown all over the place,i tried the naca ducts, they worked quite well on a std gs screen.
I havnt tried the calsci screen(nelsons top hat).that showed much promise, but the distributor wasnt prepared for me to try it, it was a lot of dosh if it didnt work.
Persevere with the screen trying, they really are great bikes, heavy but full of character and fun.
Ive tried jap stuff and reverted back to a gs again..:thumb2
ps keep your eye open in the forsale section , bits and bobs come up all the time.
ride without the screen till you sort it out.

well according to city link new screen should be here today. just hope i wake up as on nights and about to go to bed.

Go to google,
type in... Naca ducts for your bmw r1150gs...
If your unsure about cutting up your screen purchase an old one to have a practice with, there should be hundreds of old 1150 screens around?

I cut these "Naca Ducts" into the screen of my 1150gsa,I kid you not it was the best thing I ever did to improve the buffeting.

Well it's certainly an improvement just need to find the best setting. Plus left hand side bracket needs a little trim as doesn't sit quite right in hole of screen
