Low oil pressure on 1190

Just touched 7000 miles and had the low oil pressure warning come on.
Rang the dealer who explained it could be oil filter , can get distorted if revved when cold ( which. I never do)
Anyhow sent me a filter , I popped it in and it's fixed it at the moment
Filter looked like this

I am no expert so couldn't say what was a functioning filter or not , however it was pretty soggy and deformed , I doubt it had kept its seal between the block and the cap

I was going to put a fancy orange cap on it whilst I had it in bits but that would apply even less pressure to the filter to hole it in place so I stuck with the standard one


Something to look out for anyway
 
They can look like that through water contamination if the water pump seal go's on some KTMs but there's no sign of any emulsifying, just looks like the filter's not physically up to the job.
