Hi all, My wife has bought a 2003 1150GS, unfortunately it's too tall for her, so, we had the seat scooped out which has made a difference, however, it's still too tall for her. We looked online and have come across Hyperpro springs which are 30mm lower. Has anyone out there tried theses springs? do they actually lower the bike without changing the shock too? really interested in what the community thinks and any suggestions, trying too keep the costs down naturally....cheers all

Have put the shorter Hyperpro springs on my 1150GS. Can now plant both feet. Have the Corbin seat and the bike is spot on for my 29" inside leg. No change to the handling, though it does seem to be a bit more solid on the road.
Took about 3 hrs to swop the springs, once I had found the small grub screw that hold the preload on the top of the rear shock. You will find that one of the spring has to be fitted upside down, can't remember which but it is obvious when you are installing them.

I had the same experience.

I shaved some off the seat but found too uncomfortable so I fitted Hyperpro and then rebuilt the seat plus a bit more padding.
I have a 30" inseam and still flat foot confortably.
