The 2 swivel bottom windscreen brackets on my GSA have seized in place, in fact 1 has now snapped off. I've done a search and can't find any reference to it happening to anyone else so not sure why it's happened on my bike. Anyone else had this happen to them? I think they're plastic so I don't think it's rusted in.

Happened to mine as well so you aren't alone. I never moved the screen so nothing snapped. I only noticed because I had the screen off and couldn't move them.

Happened to me when changing screen. Think they were about 7 quid from bmw. Quite common I believe, I put some anti seize on the new ones I put in.

Thanks. Not just me then. Rainbow are showing them as a tenner each

Broke mine as well when putting the Givi Screen, doesn't seem to affect too much as the Givi has additional support...

Having said that, can anyone send me a link? I couldn't find it so might as well replace it if I can.

Cheers!

Me too!

Stainless top hat nut onto a zinc plated carbon steel thread. The zinc vanishes PDQ and the steel rusts jamming the threads. Solution is copper paste before it gets too bad.
