This has probably been done to death somewhere but here goes anyway . I had my seat cut down to make bike the perfect height but could not live with the discomfort .Fitted comfort seat perfect comfort but now just that bit too high ,so thought of fitting the hypro kit . So the question is is it necessary to fit front and back or will back do ? Would pushing the forks through to match back be ok ?How big a job is the shock removal ?Cheers ATB Hughie:beerjug:

There's an illustrated shock removal via the sticky's list under Hyperpro conversion and dropping the forks a few mm through the yokes shouldn't hurt much. I'm fairly sure someone else on here has done just that but can't in search.

Gonna be doing the hypo rear shock spring (normal height) soon myself. Just waiting for the riding season to finish.

Best,

S

Did you try the low seat from BMW? Wasn't very clear.

Also you on your toes or are you trying to flat foot it?
