While tidying up the garden I went to use the rake as in the photo.
Luckily I read the safety notice.

What would you recommend in the line of protective eyewear & work gloves?

I obviously have a motorcycle crash helmet with a visor & motorcycle gloves; should I chance using them?

I wouldn't chance it Gerry, ya need a man with a clipboard to come out first to carry out a risk assessment. He will give you further instructions as to how to use the rake safely

Wrong.
The army surplus store in the Killarney outlet centre; not sure what the army had the rake for in the 1st place - but they obviously wanted rid of it (too dangerous?).

Did you take or hide the old red (safe) one?
