Luggage for 1200 water cooled, what’s it worth.

Hi,

Hip causing problems so the GS 2014 water cooled may/will sadly have to unfortunately go.

I have a full set of BM hard Vario luggage, together with a full set of inner bags (never used). The top case, with pillion comfort rest, is very stiff to set to the smaller size, so I only used it fully extended.
Also Nippy’s extra strap on bags (never used) for the top of the panniers, and a never used BM large tank bag + with fittings.
( We were planning a long Euro trip but health got in the way).

Before I list in the For Sale, what sort of price would one expect for
The Vario luggage
The tank bag

I sold my vario stuff just over 12 months ago. Originally I bought it for my 2016 1200GS TE and used it on my subsequent 2018 1200GS and mt 2020 1250GS TE Exclusive. Although 8 years old I hadn't used it much, less than 10 times in all so everything worked as it should and there were only some slight marks on them , caused mainly during storage. All 3 had the codeable locks fitted.

I sold the lot on here, panniers for £250 and the topbox for the same including the adapter plate, which is needed for all the 1200 and 1250 GS' though neither had the inner bags and there was no back rest on the top box

If I had to sell a complete vario set panniers top box and adapter plate in good condition I would start at £400

I'm glad you're getting some use out of the panners and are happy with them. It was nice to meet you. I've just come back from a wiz out on the B roads of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shopshire on the RS
