Luggage mounts

Hi Guys - My mate has just ordered a 12GS without going for the luggage option (mean to the core) - Will his bike come with the 'mushrooms' and slots allowing him to borrow mine?

Nope...I will not come with the lugage mounts, but I have an extra set if you are interested, postage might be steep to the UK from the US.

I think that UK bikes come with the pannier mounts as standard - they didn't appear on the options list when I bought mine. But I think we pay more for our bikes than the rest of the world!

Correction! I have 2 1200GS's. Neither was purchased with BMW bags but both came with the bag racks. I have both sets in a sack in my garage. The only bike that comes without the racks in the US is the rare non-abs version.

My early 2004 R1200GS ABS model had no pannier mounts, expensive to add at £135 a pair. The later bikes have them fitted as standard. I didn't get heated grips either, a travesty !!!
