Hi All just got myself a Gs 1250 Adventure (21 plate) Im a bit stuck regarding paniers for it I would really prefare the rackless jobbies if possible any suggestions? TIA

Mosko Moto are best, but not cheap. If not in a hurry, they appear here often.

Only rackless ones I know of are the BMW Vario ones. Not everyone's cup of tea as they are heavy and side loaders, though I always took mine into the hotel etc when I had mine and laid them on their backs so they acted like mini suitcases. You might find a set in the for sale section if you can see that part of the forum? If not you'd need to subscribe to gain access.

My mate has the Lone Riders.

I ordered my GSA Rallye quite basic and think I only added grips, spot lights and centre stand. I had no racks on mine. I ended up buying the Givi quick release rack and boxes, but I regret. I only use twice/ year and wished I’d gone rackless too 🤔
Boxes are good if you travel a lot, but otherwise a pain for filtering (amongst other things).
I know there’s a lot of patient GS riders that don’t filter?! 🤣🤣

I have similar ones on my versys 1000 I hadn't realised that they were the various ones, but that was the type I wanted (clip on clip off) they look a little small tho, I too take them into the hotel etc much easier

I have a set of the quick release Givi frames/ pannier mounts available if you’re interested. Part No PLR5108.
I had them on my 21 GS, have a GSA now.

I bought Varios from a fellow tosser, and bought the BMW bags to go in them from another. I have a big Givi topbox that lives on the bike.

I only fit the Varios when I need them, like I’m travelling. My wife & I use one bag each, and stuff like shoes goes in the topbox along with tools etc. I think the Varios would be a pain without the bags, though of course, you’d get more in them. Personally, I’d prefer them to not be variable, the mechanism itself takes up yet more space, and I don’t see the need for them to be narrow, I just take them off.

Where they really win is the attachment to the bike which is simplicity itself, takes seconds, and the bike looks “clean” without them, no scaffolding. I’m surprised Givi hasn’t come up with a similar solution.
