Folks,

Sunday 25th March is the BMW Club monthly "Lunch at Tibbie Shiels" date for your diaries. Meet there for 12:30.

I won't be going - I'm off to Northumberland to look at castles.

Remember that the clocks will have gone forward an hour - so its 'Lunch at 11:30' in reality !

Weather forecast is promising (now why did I have to go and say that ? )

I'll look forward to hearing all about it (with pictures this time ).

I intend to go to either the Glenluce Camping Weekend (good early test of the camping gear and good runs out) or to Tibbie Shiels lunch run.

Glenluce and Tibbie Shiels

Decided to make this a circular tour of approx. 290 mls. Home to Glenluce for the Saturday night camping and pub chat and off to Tibbie Shiels on Sunday for the lunch session. Weather and company great (great choice of beers and malts in Glenluce). Saturday night cold. Temp. dropped to -5 degrees.

Up early on Sunday and set off to Tibbie Shiels via the Queen's Way, Devil's Beeftub and Megget. Lunch, chat and home. Camping gear all dried and packed away ready time. Pity its Sunday already.

That was him - half pint of semi-skimmed and a flapjack!
