I was just thinking that, looking at the pictures from Dent and some bod's snaps on Facebook from Jockland.

I know some good backroad routes up to Cadwell (which is norf to me) so it can't be impossible to carry on into the darkness.....

Dent's a tricky one for me to attend as May is very busy at work but I'm slowly warming to the idea of something later on in 2016. There, that's doomed you to the wettest year on record coming up, if my past and fleeting appearances are anything to go by.

Did it 33yrs ago, it was a fair trek, not sure I'd manage it now

Well, actually I am, I'm done in after 15mls these days,takes me about 4 days to recover.

I did I'd 42 years ago, 19hrs 42 mins. Still got the certificate and the coffin shaped badge, lol.
I'm the same now, a walk round the local reservoir and I'm done

Done the LWW a few times. Best time was a smidge under 12 hours when I were a whippet.
Now, I think it would take about a fortnight.
Always remember seeing the burnt out fire engine....

Some friend have done this walk as training for the Oxfam Trailtrekker charity walk in the Dales. Apparently you need go navigation skills because the way points can be vague. They also did it through the night too!

Well, it's been a few years but you could do it blindfold. The path was so worn it could be seen from space.
Having said that, should always have a map, compass and the skills to use em.
All it takes is a bit of fog.

For further challenge there is the Cleveland Way relay run (not race ) - takes place on Sunday...should be fun
