Well getting ready. Next Friday, 10 days northern France starting in Champagne region and heading west to tip of Brittany. To the French residents, I see the current weather is pretty good. Any ideas what the forecast is looking like towards the end of next week and beyond? Obviously it’s all subject to change but just an idea.

Sketchy at best, I would say.

Rain, torrential, 15:11 Thursday 29th, my mate says.

Sea fog will roll in to Finistère on the 28th just after 1500. Should be gone by the following morning .

Some occasional rain also forecast so your bike may become unrideable unless you turn your head or wipe your visor .

I’ll nip to Brittany tomorrow for you and get a more detailed forecast .

Who mentioned "Northern"? The Alps yes, you mentioned it t'other day. Where's the thread for it?. Is it a thread from a while back..I seem to remember Annecy being mentioned . Four of us rode the Route des Grande Alps, inspired by Arsey and Wapping I think. It's fabulous.

French Alps (but maybe Germany, too)

After EVskij posted a video of the area I fancy a visit there. Just wanted to know if it's worthwhile having a base there for maybe a week if so any recommendations please. Or is it better to stay at different places whilst having a look round. Thanks Doc
