I am tearing my hair out in frustration, because I've been very bad at research and purchased a Macbook Pro two days before release of the new model. I am trying to tell myself that I really do meed a dvd drive (which I really don't) and also telling myself that my mac 15" anti reflection display is fabulous, which it is.
Anyhow, this macbook works fabulously well and suffers no wifi loss, which my previous model suffered continually.
What;s more, I am really chuffed because I am running
Parallels for about £60, which is the dogs dangles and allows me to run all of my old win doze programmes (I refuse to call them apps) AT THE SAME TIME as mac osx. These can run in a separate virtual window and so far have no noticeable speed implications whatsoever on my core i7.The winsome applications also integrate with osx so that they have access to ready installed peripherals such as printers.
