Macbook Air Hyperlink problem

Since Firefox updated itself recently, when I click on an email link,for example,view new post on UKGSER,on my 2013 Macbook Air Firefox opens up a tab but doesn't go to the address on the link.If I leave that tab open and click on the link it then opens up the correct page.

I have searched the Mozilla help pages but can't find anything to help.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions to this luddite!!

Btw,if I use a different browser it all works ok.Yes,I know that is a solution but prefer to use Firefox as opposed to Chrome for example.

My first port of call would be an uninstall and reinstall of Firefox and see if that fixes things
