Machine Art Cylinder Head covers

I have them on my other bike, and they look good. I like the coverage they provide.:thumb

They look the ticket. I'm only looking for some cosmetic protection in the event of a low speed spill. If the promised BMW ones don't materialise/don't cut the mustard I have an option.
Thanks Batman1

I placed my pre-order for these with the Nipster last week.
I also brought the puig hugger this morn as it is now being retailed and it arrives on my doorstep (Tuesday) apparently the long wait was due to them awaiting the finish of the GSA, so the attachment for the hugger is now black to suit both models.

Hope they've sorted the quality of their mounting bracket - the one on my old GS snapped off in the Dolomites :eek

They will be useful cosmetic protection, I saw a rent GS-LC in Austria last summer that had been down the road on it's side and even though the bike was fitted with the BMW engine bars, the cambox cover was still scratched quite deep, albeit only cosmetic stuff but bad enough for a repaint or replace, so be assured that if it slides even with engine bars, the cover will collect some cosmetic damage.

Still a bit pricey though, anyone know how much is a replacement cambox cover vs re-painting them?

IIRC, one cover is £120, but once you've bought a new one, you can get the scratched cover painted, and flog it on here.:D
