Talking to a mate who's K12 fell over on the side stand due to it melting into tarmac

I have used a squashed coke can... but saw this..

Nice idea but I prefer fixed plates, it also reduced the lean angle on my 1150gsa which was a little extreme.

Looks like a damn good idea, mines just put a nice dent in the freshly laid drive!!!!

Large piece of chequer plate with a length of cord. keep it in the tank bag, drop it on the floor and wrap cord around the mirror stem. That way you won't even have to try and pick it up

A bit of ally plate and a length of parracord does the trick as you can then retreive it whilst sitting on your bike whilst all around you are on their bikes looking down at said fancy plate wondering how to get hold of it before their bike falls over
