Touratech side stand plate 1150GS

Guys,
Just received a nice sidestand plate from Touratech (yes it took ages to arrive)
but doesn't seem to fit well ! Looks like the original sidestand foot has got a bit too much weld on it - this prevents the new upper plate from sitting flush on the original foot , so I'm prob gonna have to either grind back a bit of the weld or file out the slot in the top of the new plate.
Anyone else had this problem ?

Screw it tight !!

Hello Mate,Yes I bought one,got it from Nippy Normans,arrived quite quickly really.Had the same thoughts about the weld but lined it up and screwed all the little bits together tightly and it all went in line and works lovely ! Gets in the way of your big boots abit when going for the centre stand but nowt to worry about.
